We are supposed to toss out our mascara every 6 weeks, but the wand is usually in pretty good shape. Rather than throw it out, you can repurpose those mascara wands after cleaning them up!
I know I am guilty of hanging onto makeup longer than I should. For hygiene reasons, you should routinely check your makeup and get rid of some older things.
