Country superstar Carrie Underwood has a history of supporting good causes. And she recently upped her game to lend a hand to our military families.

Underwood is partnering with Operation Homefront whose mission is to “build STRONG, STABLE, and SECURE military FAMILIES so they can thrive in the communities that they’ve worked so hard to protect.”

The year long Honor. Family. Fun. program will help raise funds for Operation Homefront. Also, select military families will have personal meet-and-greets with Underwood at 10 stops on her Storyteller Tour. The program will conclude on November 4th on board the Carnival Vista in New York City.

Operation Homefront is active in assisting military families. In addition to helping with school supplies for military children, they have provided emergency aid, housing and support for these families who give up so much to serve our country.

John Laursen is a medically retired Iraq and Afghanistan veteran who was given a mortgage free home from Operation Homefront. You can see a video about that below. It’s veterans like Laursen who will benefit from Carrie’s involvement in this program.

Thank you, Carrie!
