What is Marvel Zombies About?

Marvel Zombies continues the storyline previously shown in the What If…? animated series, which featured an alternate Marvel Universe where many of the heroes have been turned into zombies. The show will follow a group of survivors navigating a world overrun by zombified Avengers, racing to find a cure for the super-powered undead.

The trailer is a blend of action sequences and horror elements, cementing the show’s TV-MA rating. This is the first Marvel Studios animated project to have this classification.

Behind the Scenes

Bryan Andrews serves as director and executive producer. Zeb Wells is the head writer and executive producer. Other executive producers for the series include Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, and others. Danielle Costa and Carrie Wassenaar are producers.

When Does the Series Premiere?
