Your next horror television obsession is here. Perfect for the fall season, the Lazarus trailer reveal offers a look into Harlan Coben’s upcoming Prime Video thriller series. Here is everything we know about the upcoming miniseries.
The horror-thriller series created by Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst stars Bill Nighy (Love Actually, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest), Alexandra Roach (The Iron Lady, Anna Karenina), Karla Crome (Misfits, Under the Dome), David Fynn (Here, The Mauritanian), Kate Ashfield (Shaun of the Dead, Late Night Shopping), and Sam Claflin (Me Before You, Daisy Jones & The Six) as the titular character, Joel Lazarus.
Coben is a familiar name when it comes to celebrated adaptations of his fiction novels, for example, his most recent release of Fool Me Once, on Netflix. His other recognizable works include Missing You, Just One Look, and Caught.

For his next highly anticipated adaptation, Lazarus, just released its trailer, showcasing yet another thrilling story where we meet Joel, who receives the tragic news that his father, Dr. Jonathan Lazarus, has seemingly died by suicide. Racing home in hopes of putting his life back together and gaining a better understanding as to why his father took his own life, Joel stumbles upon something much darker along the way.
The further he digs into the past, the more he uncovers, and soon, Joel is caught up in a string of cold-case murders as he searches for the truth about not just his father’s passing, but also the murder of his sister that occurred when he was young.

The Lazarus trailer reveals a lot about the plot, especially that Joel quickly becomes consumed by a string of unsolved murders, which will then see Joel spiralling into a descent into madness as he tries to uncover the mystery.
It’s the perfect murder mystery show to watch for the fall and winter season. The release is also a great opportunity to binge it during Halloween weekend, as Lazarus will premiere exclusively on Prime Video with all six episodes on Wednesday, October 22.
