Fans were stunned recently when the country music star Shania Twain halted a concert in London to blow her nose.

Allergies, it seems, respect no place or time!

Twain Stops London Concert

Twain, 58, was performing at BST in Hyde Park, London last month when she suddenly stopped the concert. Video obtained by The Sun shows Twain whip out a tissue and blow her nose before apologizing to the audience.

“Pardon me,” she said.

Twain had admitted at the start of the concert that she was battling a cold. Just before kicking off the show with her 1997 hit “Don’t Be Stupid,” she explained the situation to the crowd.

“I have a little cold but who cares, just a little sniffle,” she told attendees at ALL Accor Live Limitless Terrace

“I just wanna tell you a little bit about what this means to me – I’ve been coming to concerts here for many, many years and watching all the legends play this stage,” Twain continued. She went on to say that she has “played this stage once before, it’s been a while… here I am again and I just can’t thank you enough, you guys are so awesome. Thank you.”

Twain’s Technical Issues At Glastonbury

This came one week after Twain performed in the Legends slot at Glastonbury Festival. This show was unfortunately plagued by technical issues. Twain could be seen messing with her in-ear monitors on multiple occasions, and fans found that she was singing out of time.

Despite this, most of the over 100,000 fans in attendance walked away impressed by her performance. At Glastonbury, she performed stripped-down versions of her hits “You’re Still The One” and and “Any Many of Mine.” Twain then ended with “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!,” which resulted in a singalong with her fans.

“Normally my shows are at night and I can only see your reactions near the stage. But [today] I can see all of you, all the way to the back, right up to the tents,” she told them. “I can see you so well, but I want to hear you back as well.”

The singalong ended up being so loud that it almost drowned Twain out!

Twain’s Vegas Residency

Later this month, she is set to resume her Come On Over residency in Las Vegas. Twain announced this residency at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino last year.

“I am excited to be returning to Vegas for my third residency,” Twain said in a statement. “Performing in Vegas is a huge honor and I love this theatre. The audience can expect all the hits with a few fan favorites from the new album [“Queen of Me”] in there too.”

“I am in a celebratory mood and there is nowhere better to party than Vegas so I hope you all join me!” she added.

When she isn’t performing in Vegas, she enjoys spending time on her ranch with her five horses.

“This is a little park oasis that I can just walk out my door and do this,” she told CBS News last week. ” It’s so calming and peaceful.”

Twain is a true legend, and there is no other performer quite like her. In the end, if anyone can handle having to stop a concert to blow their nose, it’s Shania Twain!
