I watched the IBF super middleweight title at the MGM National Harbor over the weekend and let me say, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a sucker punch like this.
Venezuela’s Jose Uzcategui threw a cheap shot after the bell against American boxer Andre Dirrell. After the fight had been called, Dirrell’s uncle Leon Lawson jumped in the ring and went over to Uzcategui’s corner.
When Lawson got there and everyone’s guard was down, he did the unspeakable. He actually sucker punched Uzcategui!

If it were up to me, Lawson would have been arrested and charged. You can’t take matters into your own hands without consequences.
I understand how Lawson might have felt, but I don’t condone his actions. His punch was cheaper than a $3 wedding ring.
