Just days after the finale, Prime Video has announced The Summer I Turned Pretty movie. Viewers will return to the beloved series for one final chapter. Learn more about the film and what’s in store below.

Directed by Jenny Han and co-written by Han and Sarah Kuckserka, The Summer I Turned Pretty movie will conclude the story of Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah. The series is based on Han’s beloved trilogy of books.
While Prime Video announced the film at the red carpet celebration of the Season 3 finale, current plot details are under wraps.
“There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due,” Han commented.
“I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans.”
What Happened in the Series Finale?

Season 3 ended on a high note, hitting the streaming service on Wednesday at midnight. Conrad made it to Paris and told Belly he still loves her. He also gets to see a glimpse of her life in France and all the new friends she has made.
While he questions whether Belly is dating Benito, it is revealed that they split weeks prior. Conrad and Belly get a steamy night together, but her conflicting thoughts about Conrad almost drive him away, until she follows him to his train in Brussels and professes her love for him.
Back in Boston and the Cousins Beach House, Jeremiah is honing his skills as a chef. Taylor sets up a PR campaign for him, allowing Jeremiah to showcase his skills in front of a small group at the beach house.
Taylor and Steven talk about their future when Taylor found out that Steven and Denise got seed money for their video game development venture. However, the venture is in San Francisco.
After a conversation, Taylor decides to move with Steven to California.
Of course, we can’t forget the ending scene, with Conrad and Belly back in Cousins, heading to the beach house together, finally.

Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka were the showrunners of season 3. They also served as executive producers alongside Karen Rosenfelt, Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen of Wiip.

The Summer I Turned Pretty has garnered lots of attention ever since its premiere in 2022. The series revolves around the love triangle between Belly (Lola Tung) and brothers Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno).
Season 3 featured a peak amount of drama between the three as Belly finally decides which brother she will choose.
