Explosions on the St. Petersburg metro rocked Russia Monday morning as Russian president Vladimir Putin visited the city.
Two explosions have killed at least two and injured 50, including children. The explosions occurred at the Sennaya Ploschad and Tekhnologichesky Institut stations.
The unsuspecting victims were simply riding the train when they were attacked by cowards. Daily Mail is reporting these were nail bombs, so clearly it wasn’t some sort of mechanical failure.
Sky News has video from the scene:

This story is still developing, but it is no surprise that terrorism is suspected. Someone planted these devices with the intent to harm and kill civilians.
