Gender reveal parties are a way for expecting parents to announce the sex of their baby. They can be really sweet and help increase the enthusiasm for the new baby. But, liberals at Cosmopolitan appear to have declared war on these happy parties.
In an article, Diane Stopyra takes aim at these parties for some bizarre reason. She feels that it glorifies women for only having children and there isn’t an alternative party for women who don’t have children. Apparently, Stopyra believes women who don’t have children should be praised for not having children. She wants to hand everyone a trophy.
But, she takes it even farther by saying that gender reveal parties also shouldn’t happen in case the baby is transexual. She claims revealing the baby’s gender is damaging to the child. In typical liberal fashion, she associates everything she disagrees with to Hitler.
“For starters, gender-reveal parties don’t actually reveal gender—they reveal anatomy. Gender is a wholly different thing, inextricably tied to the social constructs around it. (Fun fact: Blue used to be the color most associated with little girls, due to its association with the Virgin Mary. But Hitler—yes, Hitler—feminized the color pink by forcing gays to wear triangles in that shade during World War II.) A gender reveal conflates the two,” Stopyra wrote.
Cosmopolitan was spanked on Twitter for posting such utter nonsense and throwing cold water on parties for babies.

This utter nonsense isn’t palatable to the average person. Cosmopolitan used to be about lipstick and beauty tips. Now, it’s on a feminist rampage that frankly isn’t relatable to the average woman. Women who aren’t even political are replying their displeasure with this article. Who takes aim at happy parties celebrating babies? Liberals.
Stupid articles like this will help embolden the conservative moment. Common sense prevails.
