Carol Burnett – 91
Carol Burnett is widely considered to be one of the funniest women of all time.
Burnett is best known for her eponymous sketch comedy show The Carol Burnett Show, which ran from 1967 until 1978. This show includes some of the most hilarious skits ever captured on film, and they are still cracking audiences up to this day.
Despite being over 90, Burnett isn’t slowing down one bit. Earlier this month, she was nominated for an Emmy for her work in the Apple+ television series Palm Royale.
“I get fan mail and what touches me the most is when somebody says, ‘When I was down… your show cheered me up,'” Burnett recently told Entertainment Tonight. “That would be the legacy I’d want!”
Ellen Burstyn – 91
Ellen Burstyn is an incredible Oscar-winning actress. She is best known for her work in dramas like The Exorcist, Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, and Requiem For A Dream.
Burstyn has been an extremely busy star for decades, as she has 163 film and television credits to her name. She’s still working, and she has two more projects in the works. Known for her smile and her soft, frail voice, Burstyn has a unique way of bringing her characters to life.
As she prepares to turn 92 in December, Burstyn has no plans to slow down anytime soon.
“It’s unfortunate but our society is such that, for women in Hollywood, you get to a certain age and just fall off a cliff,” she once said. “But in my case, I refuse to die. I will hang on, by a little finger if necessary.”

Rita Moreno – 92
Then there’s the legendary star Rita Moreno.
Moreno cemented herself as a Hollywood star with her Oscar-winning turn as Anita in 1961’s West Side Story. She’s continued acting non-stop in the decades since then, compiling an impressive list of 173 film and television credits.
A recent memorable role for Moreno came last year in 80 For Brady. She starred in this movie with her fellow Hollywood icons Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Sally Field. As she moves forward into her 90s, Moreno isn’t letting age hold her back at all.
“Bigger than life is not difficult for me,” Moreno once said. “I am bigger than life.”

Robert Duvall – 93
Robert Duvall is an Oscar-winning Hollywood star who is showing the world that men can make it well into their 90s too!
Duvall has been one of the most popular and talented actors on the big screen for decades. He won an Oscar for 1983’s Tender Mercies. Duvall was already in his 80s when he scored his final nomination for 2014’s The Judge.
“I’ve done a lot of […], but I’ve done a lot of good things too,” Duvall said of his career in 2018. “You always wish there was one more. It’s like the great jumping-horse riders – always looking for a horse, ‘the’ horse.”
Unlike many Hollywood stars, Duvall feels that it’s important for entertainers to stay out of politics. When asked about his fellow actors who see themselves as political activists, Duvall once replied, “They should keep their mouths shut.”
Clint Eastwood – 94
Clint Eastwood may be in his mid-90s, but he isn’t letting that stop him from continuing his busy Hollywood career.
The Oscar-winning Eastwood has been one of the most acclaimed actors and directors in Hollywood for decades. Now 94, Eastwood recently completed filming his final directorial movie Juror No. 2, which is set to come out in November.
“You think you’re going to get some tough guy and he is completely gentle and calm and fun and cracking jokes, and a lot of the crew members — [for example], the craft services woman has been with him for 22 years,” the movie’s star Chris Messina told People Magazine of Eastwood last year
“He was awesome. I really loved him,” he continued. “93 years old and completely with it, great notes, up on his feet behind the camera — just a badass. It was super inspiring.”

Marion Ross – 95
Best known for playing Marion Cunningham on the sitcom Happy Days from 1974-1984, Marion Ross is still going strong at 95.
With 197 film and television credits to her name, Ross has had an extremely successful Hollywood career. Ross is known for her cheery and upbeat personality. After years of watching her on Happy Days, many fans feel as if she is their own mother.
“People have different opinions about this, but I’ll use it to my advantage,” she once said of this reputation. “If I call the plumber and he says, ‘I can’t come right away,’ I’ll say, ‘Did you ever watch Happy Days? I’m Mrs. C, you know.’ And not only does he get over here right away, but he brings his entire family.”
Mel Brooks – 98
When thinking of the funniest men in film history, Mel Brooks has to immediately come to mind.
Indeed, Brooks has been making audiences laugh for decades with his incredible comedic movies like Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, The Producers, and more. Nobody can pull off a film spoof quite like Brooks, and the humor of his films is something that fans of all ages can enjoy.
At 98 years of age, Brooks is still as busy as ever. He’s currently working on a sequel to his 1987 Star Wars spoof Spaceballs. Back in June, Brooks received a career achievement award at the 84th annual Peabody Awards.
“This is a great honor and it has been won by a distinguished group of esteemed, well-worth winning this award and I feel a little, I don’t know,” he said at the time. “You really want me to be part of this? These are people that go to good restaurants.”
Dick Van Dyke – 98
Dick Van Dyke is a Hollywood legend who is still making strides with his Hollywood career.
Van Dyke exploded onto the scene with his sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show, which ran from 1961 until 1966. He’s also known for movies like Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
As Van Dyke prepares to turn 99 in December, his acting career is still going strong. Back in June, he made history when he became the oldest Daytime Emmy winner ever. Indeed, Van Dyke took home the award for best guest performance in a daytime drama series for his portrayal of amnesiac Timothy Robicheaux on the beloved soap opera Days of Our Lives.
“I don’t believe this. I feel like a spy from nighttime television,” he said at the ceremony. “I’m 98 years old. Can you believe it? This really tops off a lifetime of 80 years in the business. If I had known I would have lived this long I would’ve taken better care of myself.”
Lee Grant – 98
Lee Grant is an Oscar-winning actress who is known for her dramatic work in film.
Grant, who will be turning 99 next month, scored her first Oscar nomination at age 26 for her supporting turn in the 1951 film The Detective. She later won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for 1975’s Shampoo, which she starred in with Warren Beatty and Julie Christie.
Grant’s last acting credit was 2020’s Killian & the Comeback Kids, but don’t count her out when it comes to making more movies as she closes in on 100.
“Many of the things I accomplished in life are because I was dead set on proving somebody wrong.,” she previously said.

June Lockhart – 99
Finally, we have June Lockhart, who is best known for playing Maureen Robinson on the television show Lost In Space in the 1960s.
Aside from her work as a TV mom, Lockhart has enjoyed a career in film and television that spans from 1938 all the way to today. She has 178 credits to her name, with her last one being in 2021, when she made an appearance in the Netflix reboot of Lost In Space.
Lockhart celebrated her 99th birthday back in June. At the time, she told Fox News that she is “happy and enjoying every day.”
“I loved my craft and my cast members,” she said. “I never forgot that it is all make-believe.”
