During Variety’s “Actors on Actors” interview, the Don’t Look Up co-stars shared an informative and funny conversation about their acting careers and personal lives. And in it, fans are convinced Jennifer Lawrence trolled Leonardo DiCaprio.
Viewers of the interview pointed out that Lawrence made a dig at DiCaprio’s notorious reputation for only dating women under the age of 25, with many finding it hilarious that she said it right to his face.
During the interview, Lawrence seemed to leave DiCaprio speechless after commenting on him being a dad.
“I’d really love seeing you be a dad. I’m so sad that you don’t have a teenage daughter. You look great with one,” Lawrence said as she giggled, before the camera cut to DiCaprio, looking as though he’s not sure how to take her comment.
Lawrence is known for having awkward moments, but fans have rushed to comment that the awkward moment was intentional. DiCaprio seemed to either miss the joke or wasn’t sure how to respond and tried to keep his cool.
While the moment went by quickly, fans have talked about the question and the reaction DiCaprio had to it. ” I think they were both acutely aware of what she was doing and all the gossip about him and younger women,” one fan wrote. Another joke was that “He had a flash of terror on his face.”

A third fan even wrote, “If there’s anything Leo hates more than dating women over 25, it’s being forced to listen to women over 30.”
While the shady comment has fans ecstatic, the interview also led to some insightful realizations with the actors. For instance, fans were shocked to hear that DiCaprio had never seen his movie, Titanic, to which DiCaprio admitted that he hadn’t.
“I don’t really watch my films,” he explained, though Lawrence encouraged him by saying, “Oh, you should. I bet you could watch it now, it’s so good.”
