The trailer for Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series With Love, Meghan dropped on Thursday. Unfortunately for Meghan, however, the series is already being slammed before it even premieres.
The common sentiment fans are making clear is that the trailer is, well, cringeworthy.
With Love, Meghan
With Love, Meghan is set to premiere on January 15. The trailer shows Meghan, 43, cooking in a Montecito, California kitchen and picking produce from her garden. She is also seen chatting with famous friends like Mindy Kaling, best known for starring in the comedic television series The Office, as the song “Do You Believe In Magic” plays in the background.
Does that sound corny? Many fans think so.
“I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it, surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them,” Meghan said in the trailer. “I’m going to share some little tips and tricks and how you incorporate these practices every day.”
“This is about connecting with friends,” she added. “We’re not in the pursuit of perfection we’re in the pursuit of joy.”
Meghan gushed over the new series in the caption as she posted the trailer to Instagram.
“I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it,” Meghan wrote. “Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun!”
“As ever, Meghan,” she signed off at the end of the post.

Fans Slam Meghan’s New Show
Meghan noticeably turned off the comments on this post. This ensured that fans wouldn’t be able to rip into her series on her own Instagram page.
Sadly for her, the comments sections on YouTube and X were not turned off when the trailer was posted. There, fans let it be known they are not impressed.
“Oh god this looks terrible,” one social media user commented. Another bluntly added, “Uh no thanks.”
“Rather watch paint dry,” a third person wrote. A fourth social media user stated, “Hard pass.”
Others called out Meghan for being a “privileged individual,” pointing out that she’s making food that “nobody can afford right now.”
“Who is the target audience?? Women with tons of money and time on their hands making extremely fussy treats and crafts?” one commenter questioned. “Flowers in ice cubes are interesting but about .0001% of the population would make this. Once. Incredibly entitled.”

This Series Is ‘Make Or Break’ For Meghan
When it comes to this series, the stakes could not be any higher for Meghan and her husband Prince Harry. Their $100 million Netflix deal is set to end this year. After their last Netflix docuseries Polo flopped, With Love, Meghan reportedly has to be a hit if they want this deal to be renewed.
A Netflix source confirmed to Daily Mail last month that this series is “make or break” for Meghan and Harry.
“It’s make or break,” another source stated. “People say Netflix are exhausted. It’s so much work with her and, bluntly, the ‘deliverable’ does not seem to be worth it.”
Only time will tell how With Love, Meghan will fair when it actually premieres. Judging by the reception that the trailer is getting, however, Meghan might want to start preparing herself for the worst.
