The legendary comedienne Roseanne Barr is selling her massive 46-acre Hawaiian ranch after she picked up and moved to the great state of Texas.

Barr Is Selling Her Hawaiian Ranch

Barr, 72, has listed her 46-acre ranch on the Hamakua Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii for $1.95 million. She’s selling it in a partnership with listing agent Paul Stukin of Deep Blue, Hawaii.

“I’ve represented many iconic properties, but this one stands apart,” Stukin told Fox Business. “With macadamia sustaining Hawai‘i’s economy, the farm shows how land and community thrive together.”

The 2,716 square foot home includes four-bedrooms and four-and-a-half-bathrooms. The property also comes with a swimming pool with a waterslide and adjacent pool house. In addition, it features features breathtakingly beautiful views of the coastline and surrounding orchards.

Fans will remember the ranch as the setting of Barr’s 2011 Lifetime series Roseanne’s Nuts. Check out a clip from that fun show below.

Barr Sounds Off On Move

Barr told The Robb Report that she bought the home when her son was young. She then decided “to build a sustainable home and help feed struggling families in Hawaii.”

Indeed, the sprawling land of this ranch includes acres of macadamia trees that are complemented by avocados, finger limes, apple bananas and tangerines.

Though she loved her time in this Hawaiian home, Barr feels that now is the right time to sell it.

“I’m inspired to sell because, frankly, I’m just too [expletive] old to keep doing this,” she explained. “The land deserves someone with the spirit and energy to care for it the way it should be. I still own a smaller property in Waimea and now live in Texas, where I’m involved in many exciting projects. I simply don’t have the time to give this place the love and attention it truly deserves.”

Barr previously opened up about her life in Texas, saying that she has been “doing a lot of mowing” at her new home. The former Roseanne star had been considering leaving Texas for Palm Beach, Florida. However, she decided to stick it out in the Lone Star State.

“I love it down there,” she gushed. “I really do, and I was considering doing it, but then there was this one day that was so damn hot. And I [was] just like, ‘I think I’d rather burn in hell than live here in the sun.’ It was so hot. I mean, Texas is hot, too. But oh my God, I like to go to a place where you can smoke cigarettes in the summer. I couldn’t even smoke a cigarette over there, and I can’t have that.”

Barr No Longer Speaks To Roseanne Co-Stars

Barr is best known for starring on the sitcom Roseanne for nine seasons from 1988 to 1996. She then brought the show back for a successful tenth season in 2018. Sadly, that same year, ABC canceled this Roseanne reboot. This came after Barr posted a tweet about Barack Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett that many felt was racist in nature.

ABC then brought back Roseanne as the new show The Conners with all the cast members from the reboot except for Barr, brutally killing off her character in the process. That show ran until the spring of 2025. Earlier this year, Barr confirmed that she no longer speaks to her former co-stars.

“No, I’m not friends with none of them,” Barr said. “They’re all in the past. I have pleasant memories of what fun we had – wish them all the best. And no, we don’t talk. I’ve moved on from that horrendous ending and chapter of my life, but you know, I don’t hold any bitterness or nothing to them, but my God, what fun we had on that show.”

“And I was sorry they [expletive] it all up with their greed and ridiculous stupidity to [expletive] all that up,” she concluded. “[Expletive] them, but I wish them well.”

We’re glad that Barr is putting all of this behind her to start a new life in a great state like Texas. God bless you, Roseanne Barr!
