Last week, we reported that the First Lady Melania Trump was demanding that ABC fire the late night host Jimmy Kimmel, who she described as a “coward.”
Melania issued this demand after he joked that she looked like an “expectant widow” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Just two days later, a gunman opened fire at the White House Correspondents Dinner. This marked the third assassination attempt on the life of President Donald Trump.
Now, Melania’s senior advisor Marc Beckman is speaking out to torch Kimmel for making this joke. Indeed, he’s calling on advertisers to boycott Kimmel’s show Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Melania’s Advisor Sounds Off
“Why would ABC stand behind that? That’s the question,” Beckman told Fox News. “Furthermore, not just for the ABC brand, but why do the advertisers for Kimmel’s show stick with him. It’s kind of strange.”
“Kimmel should be fired,” he added. “ABC should terminate his employment.”
Melania took to social media two days after the latest assassination attempt on her husband’s life. In her post, she ripped into Kimmel while also calling on ABC to take action against him.
“Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country,” Melania, 56, wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “His monologue about my family isn’t comedy– his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.”
“People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate,” she continued. “A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.”
Beckman Doubles Down
Beckman, who is also the CEO of advertising agency DMA United, agreed with the First Lady. According to him, “it’s not about freedom of speech. It’s about branding.”
“Why would ABC and the parent company, Disney, want to be affiliated with an individual that’s entering all of our homes, America’s homes, night after night [in] our living rooms, our bedrooms, and spewing such divisive, vile political rhetoric?” he asked. “It leads to nowhere good.”
Beckman went on to reference a The Wall Street Journal report that analyzed terrorism incidents compiled by the Center for Strategic and International Studies. They found that in 2025, left-wing terrorist attacks and plots outnumbered right-wing ones for the first time in more than 30 years.
“The amount of political violence, physical political violence from the left to the right is at a higher level,” Beckman stated. “The trend is that from left to right, political violence is greater than that from right to left.”

Melania ‘Pays Attention
Beckman then praised Melania, saying that the First Lady is someone who is always paying attention. He also described her as being incredibly hard working, despite what the left says.
“She pays attention to what people are saying in the media, but she doesn’t care so much,” he continued. “I think what she’s focused on is how could she continue to create great achievements for the country,”
“So what is she focused on? She’s focused on American children, American families, taking care of the nation as First Lady,” Beckman concluded. “She’s not going to really care about all the gossip, lies and innuendo.”
Kimmel’s sick “joke” about Melania looking like an “expectant widow” was nothing short of vile. After what happened to President Trump days later, it’s disgusting that ABC has taken no action against Kimmel.
We applaud Melania for continuing to rise above the liberal attacks and be the epitome of class and elegance as our First Lady.
