Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, took to Instagram on Thursday to announce that she is launching a new podcast. Unfortunately for her, however, she’s already being accused of copying someone else with it.
Meghan Launches Podcast
It’s not enough that she has a new show, Markle is ready for yet another project.
“I’m so excited to share with you something else I’ve been working on: ‘Confessions of a Female Founder,’ my new podcast with @lemonadamedia!” wrote Meghan, 43. “I’ve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses.”
“They’re opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business, As Ever,” she continued. “It has been absolutely eye-opening, inspiring … and fun! (Because what’s the point if we can’t have some fun on this wild adventure?).”
Meghan concluded her post by saying that the first episode will be dropping on April 8.
Meghan Accused Of Being A ‘Copycat’
However, this is already backfiring on Meghan big time. Indeed, she’s being accused of ripping off another podcast that is called “Confessions of a CEO.”
“Maybe you would like to know, Meghan Markle has ripped off another woman’s podcast called ‘confessions of a CEO,'” one livid social media user wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “A simple google search would help Meghan.”
“Tell me you don’t have a single original thought without telling me you don’t have a single original thought,” another user added alongside a screenshot of the “Confessions of a CEO” podcast page.
“Copycats again,” a third person bluntly wrote.
Things got even worse when it was discussed that another woman posts videos on her YouTube channel under the same name, “Confessions of a Female Founder.”
“Her confessions – she steals all ideas from others,” yet another X user wrote. Meanwhile, a separate user stated, “Meghan keep plagiarizing ideas from real smart talent women.”

Meghan Accused Of Copying Pamela Anderson
This is far from the first time that Meghan has been accused of copying another woman. Last month, we reported that Meghan was accused of ripping off Pamela Anderson with the trailer for her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan.
As soon as Meghan’s trailer came out, many fans noticed that it was eerily similar to the trailer for Pamela’s new cooking show Pamela’s Cooking With Love, which came out first. Some went so far as to say that Meghan’s trailer was a “straight copy’ of Pamela’s.
Check out the two trailers next to one another in the video below. Indeed, it can’t be denied that the similarities between the two are striking.
“From the similar aesthetic, titles and wardrobes to the familiar phrases and actions, frustrated fans took to X to point out all the ways in which they believe Meghan appears to have ‘copied’ Pamela’s concepts,” Daily Mail reported.
“For instance, the openings of both trailers include the stars walking in a garden admiring the produce, before inviting chefs into the kitchens as well as family and friends to try out the delicious meals,” the publication continued.

Social Media Users Weigh In
Social media users were quick to agree.
“If you watch the trailer for Pamela’s new show, it’s a more authentic version of what Meghan was trying to achieve and it looks as though Meghan has copied everything!” one social media user commented. “The trailers are so similar it’s freaky.”
“Markle’s show is a straight copy of Pamela Anderson’s cooking and entertaining show. Go look at the trailer!” another outraged fan added. A third wrote, “I know I shouldn’t be surprised but I am. Pamela’s show looks authentic and like something I’d enjoy watching. I can’t believe Netflix didn’t see Meghan’s show as a complete rip off of this one!”
“And Markle is copying AGAIN. Some of it obvious, some of it subtle,” yet another social media user commented.
Meghan needs this podcast to be a hit badly. Her previous podcast, Archetypes, was such a flop that Spotify declined to renew her $20 million deal for a second season.
Meghan’s Netflix show With Love, Meghan, is also being panned by fans and critics alike. While it’s technically getting a second season, it’s been revealed that Netflix filmed both seasons at the same time. Netflix still has yet to renew Meghan’s $100 million contract.
Meghan has yet to respond to the latest “copycat” accusations being hurled at her. It remains to be seen if she’ll change the name of her podcast!
