It’s been two and a half years since Queen Elizabeth passed away at the age of 96, but she is still missed by millions of people all over the world to this day. That’s why many are outraged at the moment after Meghan Markle disrespected the late Queen by disobeying one major order that she gave her.
Meghan Defies Late Queen
Meghan, the 43 year-old wife of Prince Harry, is still using her royal title despite the Queen warning her not to do so before her death. Indeed, both Meghan and Harry had pledged to not use their HRH titles for commercial purposes after they left the British royal family in 2020.
Despite this, Meghan’s royal title “HRH, The Duchess of Sussex” was spotted on a card that she sent her friend Jamie Kern Lima in a gift basket. Meghan sent the card to Jamie, who is the CEO of IT Cosmetics, when she had in-laws staying with her. Jamie then featured the gift basket on her podcast. A screenshot of it quickly went viral online for all the wrong reasons.
Royal fans were enraged that Meghan defied the late Queen by using her royal title on the gift basket.
“I thought they couldn’t use HRH?” one social media user commented. Another added, “She’s not to [use] it per the Queen!”
“Imagine hating the Royal Family, dishing on senior Royals & trashing the British monarchy at every opportunity…but then demand to be addressed with the titles given to you by the very same Royal family you hate and keep dining on,” a third user commented. “Meghan Markle can’t stop embarrassing herself.”

Meghan And Harry Pledged To Not Use Royal Titles
Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals in January of 2020. They then moved across the world to Southern California, where Meghan was born and raised.
“The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family,” Buckingham Palace said at the time of their exit.
So much for that!
HRH is an abbreviation of His/Her Royal Highness. It is used in an official capacity as part of the title of some members of the royal family.

Meghan Bashes Royal Family
In the years since she left the royal family, Meghan has repeatedly disrespected them. She’s done this by taking thinly veiled swipes at the royals seemingly every chance she gets. Meghan most recently did so while being interviewed by Jamie on her podcast. There, Meghan whined that she and Harry were “in the trenches” when they first started dating.
During her interview with Jamie, Meghan claimed to be more in love with Harry than ever.
“You have to imagine, at the beginning it’s all butterflies – but then we immediately went into the trenches together,” Meghan said.
“Right out of the gate, like six months into dating,” she continued. “So now seven years later, when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way. And that’s why I feel like it’s more of a honeymoon period for us now.”
Queen Elizabeth’s reign lasted for seventy years, making her the longest-serving monarch in British history. She devoted her life to the royal family, protecting the institution with everything she had. That’s why it’s nothing short of despicable to see Meghan disrespecting her memory by deliberately disobeying her orders and continuing to use her official royal title.
No wonder Meghan has struggled to gain fans in the wake of her royal exit. In the end, the vast majority of us see right through her, and we stand with the Queen!
