Last week, we reported that the Oscar-winning star Nicole Kidman and her country music star husband Keith Urban had separated after 19 years of marriage. At the time, insiders were claiming that Kidman was desperately “fighting to save her marriage,” and that she’d felt “blindsided” by Urban wanting to separate.
Hours later, however, Kidman, 58, officially filed for divorce from Urban, 57. This came amidst rumors that Urban had already moved on with a “new girlfriend.”
While it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s widely believed that this “new girlfriend” is Urban’s 25 year-old guitarist Maggie Baugh. Now, Baugh has broken her silence for the first time since this scandal broke.
Baugh’s New Song ‘The Devil Win’
On Thursday, Baugh took to social media to share a sneak peak of her new song “The Devil Win.” In it, Baugh sings about trying to “fight” feelings. Many have been struck by these lyrics, given the romance rumors that are swirling between her and Urban, who is 32 years her senior.
In the song, Baugh sang, “I don’t know what the hell I believe in / I don’t know how to heal my soul / Or how to fight this feeling and it’s a damn good place to go.”
“No matter how close I get to the burning edge / Tempting as it is, I won’t let the Devil win,” she added.
Urban And Baugh’s History
Urban and Baugh reportedly met last year. He was struck by her immediately, inviting her to perform with him at the CMT Music Awards. From there, Urban asked Baugh to join him on tour as a utility guitarist.
“Working with Urban was like going to rock star school. He is a musical encyclopedia,” Baugh told Pittsburgh Music Magazine back in April.
Originally from Florida, Baugh moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 18 to pursue her country music dreams.
“I put out my very first record when I was 13 years old,” Baugh told The Hamilton County Reporter last month. “I’m actually from south Florida and it’s a festival season all year round in south Florida, so I toured a lot there.”
“I started touring at the bigger venues and all the way up and down the state and up into Virginia,” she continued. “Then when I was 18 years old, I moved to Nashville and started touring a bunch.”
Kidman Files For Divorce
Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on September 30. Court documents obtained by Fox News show that she cited “irreconcilable differences” and ongoing “marital difficulties.”
Afterwards, it was rumored that Urban has started dating a “younger woman” in the music industry.
“The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a well-placed Nashville music insider told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.“
It should be noted that in the wake of Kidman’s divorce filings, Baugh was absent from Urban’s scheduled shows in Pennsylvania last week. While there is still no confirmation as to who this alleged “younger woman” is, video has since gone viral showing Urban seemingly flirting onstage with Baugh.

Kidman ‘Feels Betrayed’
As for Kidman, she was reportedly “blindsided” by all of this. Indeed, Kidman allegedly spent the summer desperately trying to save her marriage after she and Urban secretly separated in June.
“She didn’t want this,” an insider close to Kidman told People Magazine. “She has been fighting to save the marriage.”
“Nicole’s hurt and feels betrayed,” another Kidman source added. “She wanted to save their marriage and believed that she could, but it seems he’s already moved on.”
This is clearly an extremely difficult and messy situation for everyone involved. It will certainly be interesting to see how all of this turns out!
