Prince Harry has been estranged from the royal family for the past five years. Though he was once close to his sister-in-law Kate Middleton, royal experts are saying that there is no chance that she will reach out to Harry. Instead, Kate is reportedly standing firm with her husband Prince William against Harry, as they feel that he has betrayed their family.

Kate Stands With William In Feud With Harry

A source close to the royal family told US Weekly that William and Kate “just don’t understand why Harry doesn’t stay quiet” years after he stepped down as a senior royal.

“Catherine has been nothing but supportive of her husband – and that’s exactly why Prince William is so deeply hurt,” royal expert Kinsey Schofield told Fox News. “His pain doesn’t come from personal insults or headlines. It comes from his instinct to protect the woman he loves.”

“But what cuts the deepest is Harry’s treatment of Catherine,” Schofield continued. “She’s always loved him, always treated him like a little brother. That’s the betrayal William won’t forget… But Harry never seems to think about the consequences.”

British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard chimed in to say that Kate is “saddened” by the rift between William and Harry. Despite this, she still has no plans to get involved in trying to get them to reconcile.

“Catherine and Harry shared a fun humor and were often seen giggling together at events,” explained Chard. “Sadly and upsettingly, Princess Catherine was dragged into the public negative narrative which was a real smack round the face for the kind sister-in-law who tried hard to be the peacemaker between the brothers.”

Harry And Meghan Bash Royals

Harry and his wife Meghan Markle shocked the world when they stepped down as senior royals in January of 2020. They then moved across the world to Southern California, where Meghan was born and raised. In the years since then, they have bashed the royal family in interviews, documentaries, and in books.

Most notably, Harry used his memoir “Spare” to reveal various embarrassing private details about the royal family. He also extensively covered his decades-long rivalry with his older brother William. This has reportedly left William feeling like he can’t ever trust Harry enough to speak to him again.

“For William, there’s a fear that Harry would go to the press and talk about what was said between them if he speaks to him,” said royal historian Marlene Koenig. Royal commentator Richard Fitzsimmons added, “The royals don’t trust the Sussexes and their relationship with the media.”

Kate ‘Scarred’ By Meghan’s Oprah Interview

In 2021, Meghan and Harry also gave an infamous tell-all interview to Oprah Winfrey that was viewed by nearly 50 million people around the world. In it, Meghan alleged that Kate had made her cry in the lead-up to her 2018 wedding to Harry. The source close to the royals claimed that Kate was left “scarred” by this interview.

“The reframing of events upset her, and making up a narrative that Kate is mean was devastating,” this insider alleged. “She can’t retaliate, and Meghan knows that.”

Chard stated that while Kate had nothing in common with Meghan, she was still supportive of Harry finding love.

“Princess Catherine was happy when Prince Harry met Meghan,” Chard concluded. “She was thrilled that Prince Harry seemed genuinely happy… The three musketeers became the ‘Fab Four’… Princess Catherine [silently] cannot understand why Prince Harry still won’t bite his tongue and continues his destructive path.”

In the end, it seems that there is no end in sight when it comes to mending the royal rift. Only time will tell if Kate and William ever make peace with Harry again!
