
Bill Nye, the famous educator and television host, is set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025.
Known for his popular 1990s TV series Bill Nye the Science Guy, Nye has inspired generations of young people to explore the wonders of science.
“Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields,” said Peter Roth, Chairman of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee.
The star will serve as a permanent reminder of Nye’s impact on science education and his dedication to making science accessible and engaging for all.

Bill Nye Is A Hollywood Star
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a popular tourist attraction in Los Angeles, California, featuring stars dedicated to various celebrities and public figures. The stars are embedded in the sidewalks along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.
The ‘Science Guy’s’ star will be a fitting tribute to his decades-long career.
Along with Nye, other celebrities getting their own star include Prince, Keith Urban, Green Day, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, all the way to 101-year-old stuntwoman Toni Vaz.
Seems like Bill is in some good company for this year’s class!

The character from the show was seen in a signature powder blue lab coat and a bow tie. He is a memorable and enduring figure.
