Priscilla Presley Claims Rumors She’s Feuding With Lisa Marie’s Daughter Are ‘BS’

In the months since Lisa Marie Presley passed away back in January, rumors have swirled that her mother Priscilla Presley is feuding with her daughter Riley Keough over her estate. Now Priscilla is trying to put these rumors to rest by saying that they are “BS.”

Priscilla Attempts To Shoot Down Rumors

When asked by Fox News if she and Riley could ever come together “on things,” Priscilla replied by saying “that’s a bunch of B.S.”

“Don’t believe what we’re reading?” a reporter asked, with Priscilla responding by shaking her head to indicate “no.”

“Are you guys OK? So, you guys are on good terms?” the reporter asked.

“Yes, we are . . . yep,” Priscilla answered.

Lisa Marie’s Will

Lisa Marie tragically died of a heart attack back in January at the age of 54. It was then revealed that in 2016, Lisa Marie cut her mother out of her will to instead leave her entire estate to her two oldest children, Riley and Benjamin Keough. Sadly, Benjamin committed suicide back in 2020 at the age of 27.

Joel Weinshanker, a managing partner at Elvis Presley Enterprises, has claimed that Lisa Marie was “very, very quite certain and quite direct about who she wanted to have the legacy [left] to.”

“That was always Riley and Ben,” he explained. “There was never a question in her mind that they would be the stewards, that they would look at it exactly the way she did. Obviously, when Ben passed, it really sat with Riley. Although Riley is a movie star, she’s an award-winning director, she had always had an interest and had always known that one day, she would be in charge of [things].”

Sources Claim Priscilla And Riley Aren’t Speaking

Weeks after Lisa Marie’s death, sources claimed that Priscilla and Riley were no longer on speaking terms.

“It has been a very tense and heartbreaking few weeks for both Riley and Priscilla,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “Riley has been mourning the loss of her mother and is heartbroken to have to deal with a trust dispute with a family member. Priscilla is adamant that she has a valid case and that she will prevail in court. Riley and Priscilla aren’t communicating at this time, but have been in communication through lawyers.”

The insider went on to say that “they are both gearing up for court, Riley would prefer to settle this dispute privately.”

“She is heartbroken that this has turned into a public matter and knows her mother would never want this,” the source continued. “Riley is very stressed at the moment and has been trying to keep a positive attitude and outlook ahead of her new series coming out. Her daughter and husband have been keeping her in good spirits.”

The source is referring to Riley’s “Daisy Jones & The Six,” which she stars in on Amazon Prime. Riley is a 33 year-old Hollywood actress who has been nominated for a Golden Globe in the past.

The source concluded by saying that Priscilla believes that she “is right in her heart,” when it comes to Lisa Marie’s trust.

“She is convinced that old documents had been forged,” the source said.

Whether Priscilla and Riley are actively feuding or not, it’s clear that this situation is very complicated. We can only hope and pray that the two of them are able to come to some kind of resolution in the future.
