The country music star Jason Aldean has tons of tattoos on his body, and he loves nothing more than getting more ink on himself. There’s one tattoo that he has, however, that he now regrets ever getting, as he sees it as “really stupid.”
Taste of Country reported that Aldean’s tattoos include a cross that has the names of his oldest daughters, Keeley and Kendy, on it, as well as tattoos that feature the names of his youngest children, Memphis and Navy. Other tattoos include a microphone, some palm trees, and more.
There’s one tattoo, however, that Aldean can openly admit that he regrets.
“My very first one, I do,” he confessed when asked about this in a recent interview. “I have it now, it’s covered up.”
“I think when I was 18 and I walked into a tattoo shop in my hometown in Georgia and, you know, I just, they have stuff up on the wall and I just picked out something on the wall and went, ‘Yeah I want that,'” he continued. “And then as I got older I’m like, ‘That’s really, that’s really stupid.'”

Aldean, 46, did not elaborate on what this tattoo was, nor did he reveal which one of his current tattoos covers it. However, he did indicate that the quality of the tattoo job played a big role in him regretting it years down the road.
“Not only that, but it was just a really bad tattoo,” he confessed. “Like, the guy that did it, he must have just started that week or something. So I ended up having to get a guy to cover it up.”
Despite all of the other ink that Aldean has gone on to get, his first is the only one that he regrets.
“That’s really the only one that I regret a little bit that I would have done different, but none of the rest of them,” he said.

Aldean revealed last month that he has started work on his eleventh studio album.
“Today was the first day of recording the new album. Always a blast when we start making new music together,” he wrote on social media alongside a photo of himself in the studio. “Love all these guys who have played on pretty much everything with me since the beginning. Album #11 Let’s f***in GET IT!!!!!!!”
Prior to that, Aldean’s double album “Macon, Georgia” was released in two parts, with the first coming out in November of 2021 and the second in April of 2022.
Aldean previously simply titled his ninth studio album “9,” and he admitted at the time that he never thought he’d reach nine albums when he started his music career.
“Early on I always thought if we ever got to make nine albums, I’m going to call it 9. It was my baseball number growing up, and it’s just kind of always been my lucky number,” he said at the time. “I remember cutting the first album and thinking, ‘That’s forever away,’ and now here we are. I don’t know, it’s really special we made it this far — so, it’s more for me than anybody else — but, it means a lot.”
Aldean is one of the most popular country music stars working in the industry today not only because of his talent, but also because of his down-to-earth nature. His admission about his tattoo regret shows that he sees himself as a normal guy who makes mistakes just like the rest of us, which only makes us love him even more!
