There is a really cool WWE WrestleMania 39 rumor regarding Edge. And, an update after a rising AEW wrestler underwent a scary spot.

Edge WrestleMania 39 Rumor

WWE has produced a total of 38 WrestleManias and in less than a week, the number increase by one. Although, this will be the first to feature a Hell in a Cell Match.

After almost a year of feuding, Edge and Finn Balor will finally end their rivalry. And, it looks like we will be seeing a different side from both superstars.

On RAW, Edge told Balor to bring his alter ego, “The Demon.” Also, considering how the promo went, Edge will be using his older gimmick from when he was in The Brood.

And, that is not all as PWInsider Elite reports how former WWE superstar Gangrel will be flown to Los Angeles for WrestleMania. This has led to the belief that Gangrel will appear during the match, furthering speculation of The Brood reunion.

The report continued how Gangrel is expected to be involved in Edge’s entrance. Plus, him getting physical to counter Damian Priest has been suggested.

Will Christian Cage Be Part Of Potential Brood Reunion?

Of course, Christian Cage was the third member of The Brood. Since he is under contract with AEW, it does not seem like he will appear.

Remember, AEW did allow Billy Gunn to appear on WWE TV for the Hall of Fame induction of DX. That induction saw several shots taken at AEW by his other DX members.

Since then, AEW has not permitted Gunn to return to WWE TV. That includes DX’s 30 year anniversary in January.

Christian last appeared on AEW at the Revolution pay per view earlier in the month. He lost to Jungle Boy in a Final Burial Match to end a feud that was stretched because Cage suffered an injury.

Edge did use The Brood gimmick twice since returning to WWE. He used it at SummerSlam 2021 and last year’s Day 1.

Both times, Edge walked away as the victor. Therefore, he will look for the trifecta at WrestleMania 39.

WWE is yet to confirm if the Hell in a Cell Match will be on night one or two of WrestleMania. Also, with rumors of Edge possibly retiring for good this year, some think next week could be his final match.

Action Andretti made is presence known in AEW by defeating Chris Jericho on Dynamite. The match is considered one of the biggest upsets ever and likely at the top of AEW’s list.

Their feud is seemingly over and Andretti has not yet worked another a high profile feud. He worked the recent AEW Dark and Dark Elevation taping, but the match ended with no winner.

Andretti seemed injured in his match against Slim J. Thankfully, Andretti took to Twitter to confirm he walked away and is healthy.

His last match on TV was March 8 when he took on Sammy Guevara for AEW Rampage. That match did go Andretti’s way as he was defeated.
