Jane Fonda Whines ‘We’re Pooping In Our Kennel’

Jane Fonda, who was infamously nicknamed Hanoi Jane because of her despicable anti-American actions during the Vietnam War, was up to her old tricks again on Tuesday when she sounded off about the importance of saving “our brethren the ocean.”

Fonda Sounds Off

The Associated Press reported that Fonda, 85, held a press conference after talks resumed at the U.N. headquarters to forge a treaty to safeguard the marine biodiversity of the world. 

“Even dogs don’t poop in their kennel because they know that the kennel provides security and a home for them. We’re pooping in our kennel,” Fonda said. “We are not behaving right and why the treaty is important is it will force us to behave right.”

Fonda also said that her love for the ocean comes from growing up by the beach in Santa Monica, California, where she was raised in enormous wealth and privilege as the daughter of the Hollywood star Henry Fonda.

“I’ve swum with some of the most magnificent creatures, and I know that they may very well be more intelligent than me,” Fonda said.

That’s not saying much, Hanoi Jane.

‘I Love Them’

“And I love them, and I think that we should all understand that we’re talking about saving the last great wild animals that are hunted for food,” she continued. 

Fonda went on to claim that the leaching of fertilizer from industrial farms “is causing massive and expanding dead zones in the ocean.”

“The ocean is our ally,” Fonda said. “Let us love and respect it.”

Fonda gave this press conference while sitting next to Hervé Berville, France’s secretary of state for the sea, who expressed his belief that “we have the political momentum” in the current negotiations. Fonda, however, warned that time is running out and complained that humans are destroying things that they don’t even understand.

“Why the treaty is important is it will force us to behave right, and to save this great ally that we have called the ocean — the one ocean on this blue planet that can save us,” she said. “There’s a lot at stake.”

Fonda’s Radically Liberal Activism 

Fonda has been known as a radically liberal activist for decades. During the Vietnam War, she earned herself the nickname Hanoi Jane after she was pictured straddling an enemy anti-aircraft gun. In recent years, she’s focused her attention on combatting climate change, and she’s been arrested multiple times in her climate protests in Washington D.C. 

“You can take anything — sexism, racism, misogyny, homophobia, whatever, the war,” Fonda said last month, according to Market Watch. “And if you really get into it, and study it and learn about it and the history of it, everything’s connected. There’d be no climate crisis if it wasn’t for racism.”

When asked to explain what she meant by this, Fonda responded, “Where would they put the sh—? Where would they put the poison and the pollution?”

“They’re not gonna put it in Bel Air. They’ve got to find someplace where poor people or indigenous people or people of color are living,” she continued. “Put it there. They can’t fight back. And that’s why a big part of the climate movement now has to do with climate justice.”

It’s no secret that Fonda is one of the biggest crazies in Hollywood, and her latest rant about the ocean only proves that. It’s unfortunate that after so many decades, she’s still being given platforms to spew her nonsense to the world.

Give it a rest, Hanoi Jane!
