Whoopi Goldberg Starting To Crack – Admits She’s ‘In Trouble’ As Calls Grow For Her To Be Fired From ‘The View’

Whoopi Goldberg has admitted that she's "in trouble" after weeks of people calling for her to be fired from "The View."

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been reporting that calls have been growing for Whoopi Goldberg to be fired from “The View” after she once again said that the Holocaust was not about race. It appears that the pressure is starting to get to Goldberg, as she admitted on Monday’s episode of the ABC talk show that she is “in trouble.”

Goldberg Admits She’s ‘In Trouble’

The Sun reported that during Monday’s show, the co-hosts of “The View” were joking around about what would happen if the program’s executive producer Brian Teta went missing.

“Our executive producer did tell us that if he goes missing, it’s probably someone from the table,” said co-host Sunny Hostin, with Alyssa Farah Griffin adding, “It’s probably Joy [Behar].”

“If Brian goes missing it’s on purpose. He doesn’t want to be found,” co-host Ana Navarro chimed in to say.

“If we do it, you’re not going to find out,” Hostin said as she gestured to Navarro and Farah Griffin.

That’s when Goldberg interrupted her co-hosts to say, “It’s not a ‘we’ situation. I’m already in trouble, it ain’t me.”

“Okay?” she continued as she gave a stern look to the camera.

Goldberg’s Holocaust Comments

Goldberg was likely referring to the backlash that she received over the controversial comments that she made about the Holocaust. She was initially suspended from “The View” for two weeks in February of last year after saying that the Holocaust was not about race. Though she backtracked and apologized afterwards, Goldberg proceeded to double down in an interview at the end of last month.

“My best friend said, ‘Not for nothing is there no box on the census for the Jewish race.’ So that leads me to believe that we’re probably not a race,” Goldberg told The Times of London back in December.

“It wasn’t originally” about race, she continued, according to NBC News. “Remember who they were killing first. They were not killing racial; they were killing physical. They were killing people they considered to be mentally defective. And then they made this decision.”

Goldberg has since issued yet another groveling apology, saying, “It was never my intention to appear as if I was doubling down on hurtful comments.”

“I’m still learning a lot and believe me, I heard everything everyone said to me,” she added.

Calls For Goldberg To Be Fired

Unfortunately for Goldberg, however, this has done nothing to stop the backlash against her, and calls for her immediate firing have continued to come in.

“@TheView Whoopi Goldberg has repeated her slur that got her suspended from your show,” one social media user commented, according to Daily Mail. “So now it’s time to make that suspension permanent. She clearly learned nothing from her hateful rhetoric. #disgusted.”

“Here Whoopi Goldberg goes again talking about ABC & the Jews! When will she learn,” another user added. “She needs to be banned from TV altogether nobody wants to listen to her BS.”

Others have gotten in on the action as well:

If Goldberg were a white person who had said anything like what she said about the Holocaust about black people, she would have been fired and cancelled a long time ago. In the end, Goldberg is right to be worried that her days on “The View” are numbered, because the public is not letting this one go.
