With the buzz about a possible sale only getting stronger, check out this controversial possible WWE buyer. And is a former NXT Superstar coming back soon?

Controversial Possible WWE Buyer

We’ve heard the rumors for a while, and after last week, talk of a possible sale is louder than ever. Now, a controversial possible WWE buyer has surfaced.

We all know how positive so many fans are for that long-term deal that WWE inked with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, right?

Could you imagine if the controversial possible WWE buyer had some very close ties to Saudi Arabia?

Specifically, the Saudi Public Investment Fund could indeed bid on WWE, should the company be on the block.

At least one source pegs that as a distinct possibility.

For those who don’t know much about the Public Investment Fund, let’s dive in.

This is the same group driving the upstart LIV golf tour that has caused the PGA Tour so much grief in 2022.

On top of that, the Fund also owns an English Premiere League club, Newcastle.

So, a possible purchase of WWE would just be the next step in their growing sports portfolio.

Given that there is an established, years-long relationship between WWE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you have to think there’s a chance here.

But, to be fair, it would also be an interesting deal…because that lengthy relationship has not been without it’s issues.

Given that Vince McMahon has returned, all the changes we saw in the last half of 2022 are now at risk.

If Vince does sell…and sells to such a group like the Saudi PIF…would they embrace Triple H’s moves, or would they blow it all up?

Former Superstar Back Soon?

While things are kind of in an odd state right now, could another former NXT Superstar be back soon?

Yes, Vince McMahon returned last week, and so far, he isn’t taking creative control away from his son in law.

As such, the returns that we’ve seen so many of under Triple H could indeed be continuing.

To be honest, this one might not jump out at you from what has been done in the past.

But, that might change if he has a second run with WWE.

In NXT, we knew him as Ezra Judge. Since his release, we’ve known him as EJ Nduka (if you’ve known him at all).

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE is indeed interested in bringing him back. That makes sense, given some recent stories that have emerged about him.

While away from WWE, Nduka has found success in MLW. Up until recently, he was one half of their tag team champions.

But, interestingly enough, he and his partner just lost the belts.

Now, that could mean nothing relative to a return to NXT. Or it could be an indication that his time in MLW is soon up, and he might be heading back to NXT.

With the Rumble coming up quickly, I doubt he’s being considered for a surprise entry, but stranger things have happened.
