If all goes as planned, UFC president Dana White is looking at pairing Conor McGregor with Michael Chandler in 2023.
While not official, UFC president Dana White is looking to pair Conor McGregor with Michael Chandler.
The former champions would likely meet in 2023 after McGregor has fully-healed from his injuries suffered in a loss to Dustin Poirier.
According to SportsBetting.ag, McGregor would be a -155 favorite in the battle, with Chandler checking in at +135.
McGregor has dropped his last two, both coming at the hands of Dustin Poirier via TKO. He was stopped in July after suffering a nasty leg injury.
Since starting his career 18-2, McGregor has gone just 3-3, including a loss to Floyd Mayweather in his boxing debut.
Chandler has lost three of his last four, including a November submission defeat at the hands of Poirier.
The two have been at each other on social media and in interviews for several years now.
