Piers Morgan Fires Back At Meghan And Harry After They Include Clips Of Him In Netflix Docuseries

Piers Morgan has hit back at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after they included clips of him in their Netflix docuseries.

The final episodes of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix docuseries “Harry + Meghan” dropped on Thursday, and they featured a clip of the British media personality Piers Morgan, who is now firing back at the royals in a big way.

Morgan Fights Back

Daily Mail reported that the docuseries included a clip of Morgan describing Meghan as a “rockstar,” adding that this was “not a good thing” for the royal family.

“Putting aside what I think about her, she’s becoming a royal rockstar,” Morgan said. “Bigger, I would argue as a couple, than William and Kate. That’s probably not a good thing in the long term.”

After seeing that this was included in the Netflix docuseries, Morgan took to Twitter to hit back at Meghan and Harry. 

“I’m being regularly heard/quoted in this second instalment of the Megsflix whine-a-thon. I’m traumatised by this terrible invasion of my privacy,” he wrote, later adding, “Their incessant whining is so insufferably exhausting.”

Morgan later returned to Twitter to describe the docuseries as “a grotesque and sickening betrayal.”

“Prince Harry publicly trashing his brother William, branding his father King Charles a liar, and attacking his grandmother the late Queen for doing nothing,” he said. “This is such a grotesque and sickening betrayal of his family.”

Harry Whines In Docuseries

This came after Harry complained in the fourth episode of the docuseries that there is an expectation in the royal family that anyone who “is marrying in” should be nothing more than a “supporting act.”

“The issue is that someone who is marrying in should be a supporting act,” Harry said. “If they are stealing the limelight or doing the job better than the person who was born to do this this, that upsets people, that shifts the balance, because you’ve been led to believe that the only way that your charities succeed or the only way that your reputation can be grown or improved is if you are on the front page.”

“But the media are the ones who chose who to put on the front page,” he continued. 

Harry also talked about how his relationship with his brother Prince William went completely off the rails, according to Hello! Magazine.

“It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father say things that simply weren’t true… and my grandmother sit there and quietly take it all in,” he said.

“The saddest part of it was this wedge created between myself and my brother so that he’s on the institution side, and part of that I get, that’s his inheritance,” Harry added. “So to some extent, it’s already ingrained in him that part of his responsibility is the survivability and continuation of this institution.” 

Morgan Demands Meghan And Harry Be Stripped Of Their Titles

Morgan has long been one of the only people in the media who has had the guts to call Meghan and Harry out publicly. After the first batch of episodes from their docuseries were released last week, he called on King Charles to strip them of their royal titles.

“King Charles needs to strip these two poisonous rats of all remaining titles & ties to the Royal Family… and needs to do it fast before they destroy the Monarchy,” he tweeted.

The palace has yet to respond to the docuseries, choosing to take the high road instead of sinking down to Meghan and Harry’s level. One can’t help but feel that Queen Elizabeth is rolling in her grave right now over all of this nonsense.
