Anatoly Malykhin shocked the MMA world at ONE on Prime Video 5.

Malykhin destroyed Reinder de Ridder to claim the light heavyweight title. The event took place from Manila, Philippines and aired live on Amazon Prime Video.

Malykhin, the interim heavyweight champion, made his speed and power known early, as he punished De Ridder with thunderous right hooks and crushing body shots. “The Dutch Knight” tried his best to close the distance so he could utilize his signature body lock, but the Russian’s takedown defense was on point.

Malykhin’s wrestling prevented De Ridder from taking the action to the mat, as the light heavyweight king was forced to trade strikes.

In the final moments of the round, Malykhin hurt De Ridder along the Circle Wall and completed the finish with less than 30 seconds remaining. The performance not only crowned Malykhin a two-division ONE champion, but it also earned him a hefty $100,000 bonus.
