Piers Morgan Eviscerates Meghan Markle And Prince Harry As They’re Given Major Award – ‘Absolutely Disgusting’

It was recently announced that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be receiving the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights award during an A-list gala in New York City next month for their efforts to combat “structural racism” in the royal family. Now, the British media personality Piers Morgan is speaking out to say that it is “outrageous” that Meghan and Harry are being given this award.

Meghan And Harry To Receive Awards From Kennedys

Kerry Kennedy, the daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy and the president of the foundation, went full “woke” when she said that Meghan and Harry are being given the award for their “heroic” stance against the  royal family’s “structural racism.”

“They went to the oldest institution in U.K. history and told them what they were doing wrong, that they couldn’t have structural racism within the institution; that they could not maintain a misunderstanding about mental health,” she said, according to Daily Beast.

“Few would have the courage to question their colleagues, family and community about the power structure they maintained, and this is what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have done,” she added.

Her brother Robert F. Kennedy Jr., however, told Daily Mail that he found the choice of Meghan and Harry to receive this award to be “bewildering.” 

Morgan Sounds Off

Morgan, who has long been no fan of Meghan and Harry’s, went even further than that by saying that the choice was both “outrageous” and “absolutely disgusting.”

“I think it’s absolutely disgusting and shame on Kerry Kennedy, frankly, for besmirching the name and memory of her father in this way,” Morgan told Fox News.

“The idea that these two little grifters, who quit royal duty, quit Britain… exploited and fleeced their royal titles for hundreds of millions of dollars straight in their back pocket…the idea that they’re being lauded as some kind of heroes in America by your own sort of royal family, if you like, the Kennedys, it really sticks in my gullet,” he continued. 

Morgan went on to call on the foundation to reconsider giving Meghan and Harry this award before it’s too late. 

“To me, it epitomizes the malaise of modern celebrity when you have two people going out of their way to trash their families on national television,” he said. “Harry has this book coming out, and he’s going to do it all over again to his father who’s now the king, who’s still mourning, of course, the death of his mother.”

Morgan is referring to the fact that Harry’s tell-all memoir “Spare” is set to be released on January 10. While it’s unknown what Harry will say in the book,  there are fears that he make more explosive claims about the royal family.

Morgan Zeroes In On Meghan

Not stopping there, Morgan doubled down by zeroing in on Meghan, who he’s criticized in the past. 

“You’ve got Meghan Markle, who was a sort of two-bit mediocre actress who married into a family, took our favorite prince, took him to America, and is now spending her entire time trying to attack the monarchy,” he concluded. “And I’m sorry, but as a monarchist and as somebody who loves this country, I think it’s completely outrageous that they are now being given the cloak of honor and prestige and branded heroes by a Kennedy… Honestly, words fail me.”

Since stepping down as senior royals back in 2020, Meghan and Harry have wasted no opportunity to bash the royal family publicly. While the “woke” left will be happy to see them be rewarded for this at a ritzy gala next month, others will undoubtedly agree with Morgan’s assessment of the situation. 

It’s continues to be sad that the late Queen Elizabeth was forced to spend her final years dealing with the antics of Meghan and Harry.
