Meet Your Official Queen Of Thanksgiving: Martha Stewart!

In the lead-up to today’s Thanksgiving holiday, the “Today” show officially crowned Martha Stewart as the queen of Thanksgiving!

Stewart Crowned Queen Of Thanksgiving 

Stewart, 81, was crowned as part of “Today’s” United Sides of Thanksgiving, which involved 17 all-star chefs sharing recipes for their best Thanksgiving dishes. Stewart was honored after she shared two of her favorite recipes, with the first being her Classic Stuffing and her second being a Meyer Lemon Drop cocktail.

After the chefs gathered around the Thanksgiving table, host Carson Daly surprised Stewart with the honor.

“There’s been a lot of talk lately about who’s the certain queen of a particular holiday,” Carson said, referring to the unofficial queen of Christmas Mariah Carey. “Well, this morning, we’re here to confirm the one thing that we know for sure. So, by the powers invested in me with this golden turkey baster goes to the one and only miss Martha Stewart, the queen!”

Stewart accepted her crown with a laugh before posing with a golden turkey baster.

‘All Hail, The Queen Of Thanksgiving!’

“All hail, the queen of Thanksgiving!” Carson declared. 

After being crowned, Stewart gave a brief acceptance speech.

“I do believe that Thanksgiving is a very important time of year, and despite all other ideas that, you know, we skip over Thanksgiving, you never, never can. Here’s to our pioneers!” she said. “And to Mariah, I still love you!”

Stewart has been helping others with her Thanksgiving recipes for decades.

“I think I probably cooked, oh, maybe, I’ve cooked, let me see, 60 Thanksgivings at least, maybe more,” she said in 2020. “‘Cause I got married when I was 19, and I did my first Thanksgiving … when I was 20 years old.”

Stewart’s Hollywood Crush

This comes after Stewart admitted to having a crush on the Hollywood star Brad Pitt, who she described as being a “very handsome young boy.”

“Well, if I could meet — I was asked this question once — I’ve been sort of fascinated with this very handsome young boy on Instagram. He’s called Brad Pitt,” she said during an appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”

Stewart went on to say that she loves Pitt so much that she follows various fan pages of his on social media.

“They’re fan pages, I guess, I don’t know. But whatever it is, he looks better and better as the years go by,” she said as she giggled. “I just sort of melt when I look at those pictures. I mean, he is so cute!”

When Fallon said that he “loves” the 58 year-old Hollywood star, Stewart replied, “I do. I do.” Check out her full comments on this in the video below.

Stewart Is Single

Stewart was married to Andrew Stewart from 1961 until 1990, according to Page Six. Though she had a secret boyfriend in December of 2021, they have since broken up, and she’s made it clear that she is enjoying the single life.

Last month, Stewart said she’d go on a date with the 29 year-old former “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson, saying that he is “sort of cute” and “a good guy.” 

We don’t know how Stewart is celebrating Thanksgiving this year, but we hope that she’s enjoying doing so as the official queen of the holiday for the first time!
