Joy Behar angers millions of conservatives every day with her oftentimes ignorant liberal comments on her ABC talk show “The View.” That’s why many will not be surprised to learn that Behar’s own daughter, her only child, has told her to never mention her name on the talk show.

‘Don’t Talk About Me On The View’

“I was told early on by my daughter, ‘Leave me out of your stand-up act, don’t talk about me on The View unless it’s super, super complimentary,'” Behar said of her daughter Eve, who is a 51 year-old artist, according to Decider.

“And here we are!” her co-host Sara Haines said as she waved to the camera. “Say hi, Joy. Look into the camera.”

“She doesn’t watch. Do you think she watches?” Behar fired back, to which Haines responded, “She doesn’t watch this crap!”

“I didn’t say that,” Behar replied. “I said, ‘she doesn’t watch this show.’ She’s busy doing her artwork. She’s an artist.”

Later in the show, Behar said that she feels that nobody should ever post about her on social media without her approval. (Sorry Joy)

“Nobody should post something that I haven’t given them permission for, in my opinion,” she said.

Behar’s co-hosts were quick to let her know that they’ve already broken this rule, however.

“I post pictures of you and my dog all the time,” said Ana Navarro, with Sunny Hostin also admitting, “I have pictures of you on my social.”

This caused Behar to snap and yell, “Don’t!”

Behar Has ‘No Plans To Retire’

Though Behar turned 80 last month, she’s insisted that she has “no plans to retire.”

“I just signed a contract so I’ll be here for a while,” she told People Magazine around the time of her birthday. “I have no plans to retire.”

“It’s really, you know, something that is an important show in many ways,” she added of the ABC talk show. “Sometimes I don’t believe that, as I’ve been here since the beginning, but we’re the most-watched show in daytime. Most-watched!”

“I’m happy to be a part of it,” Behar concluded. “So no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m having a good time.”

Behar was one of the original co-hosts of “The View” when it premiered back in 1997, and though she was fired in 2013, she was brought back two years later and has been on the show ever since.

Behar ‘Was Glad To Be Fired’

“I was glad to be fired. I basically was sick of the show at that point for some reason, I don’t even remember why,” she said in the wake of her birthday.

“We still don’t know why they dumped me,” Behar continued. “They still don’t know why I was sacked? That was very stupid of them. But they learned their lesson.”

Behar is certainly good at making headlines for “The View,” although it should be noted that oftentimes she does so for all the wrong reasons. We can’t argue with her daughter wanting Behar to never mention her on air, because if she was our mother, we’d feel exactly the same way!
