Mackenzie Dern has everything you want in a leading female fighter.

Good looks, talent inside the Octagon and a tremendous personality.

Now, she just needs to take care of Yan Xiaonan.

The two meet Saturday in the main event of UFC Fight Night live on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

For Dern, this marks her second headline fight, as she suffered a five-round decision setback to Marina Rodriguez last October. However, she rebounded in April by besting veteran Tecia Torres to improve to 12-2.

Since signing with the UFC, Dern has posted a 7-2 mark, highlighted by wins over Torres, Nina Nunes, Virna Jandiroba and Randa Markos. Both of her defeats have come via decision, as Amanda Ribas handed her the first loss back in 2019.

After that setback, Dern went on a four-fight win streak that featured three first round submission wins.

Dern is truly must-see-television when she steps inside the Octagon, and Yan knows that.

Yan is looking to snap a two-fight losing skid, as she was bested by Carla Esparza back in early 2021 and suffered a split decision loss to Rodriguez in March.

Prior to that, she had reeled off six straight wins after signing with the UFC in 2017.
