The PFL has prepared a deal beginning in 2023 with DAZN.
The league will air fights next year on the network, along with the agreement being a joint venture to create PFL Europe.
PFL and DAZN will now be broadcast to millions across the international region of the sport, with a focus on Europe. That area of the world has already produced some exceptional talent, and you can bet by getting into more and more homes, it will help grow the active roster.
PFL Europe will be the first regional league from a global provider in mixed martial arts. The PFL started providing up and coming prospects with an outlet earlier this year, and now, they are doing the same on the international scale.
“PFL Europe is the beginning of the Champions League of MMA from PFL” said Peter Murray, CEO of PFL. “We are excited to have DAZN as our strategic media rights distribution partner in Europe for all of fight franchises – PFL Global League, PFL Challenger Series, PFL Europe, and PFL PPV Super Fight Division.
Murray has an extensive and strong background already in the sports world. His connections and ability to connect the PFL will more and more outlets like DAZN, is what really sets the MMA promotion apart.
UFC president Dana White has been instrumental in doing this for his promotion, and Murray has done the exact same for his. They are truly two of the greatest minds in the sport alongside Campbell McLaren.
