Xiong Jing Nan retained her title with a victory over Angela Lee in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 2.
The card took place from Singapore and streamed live on Prime Video through Amazon.
Xiong came out firing boxing combinations in the first round, tagging Lee with a plethora of hooks that stunned the Singaporean-American star and sent her crashing to the ground for a near finish.
Surprisingly, Lee chose to stand with “The Panda” in the early going, before turning to her vaunted grappling in the second frame. However, Xiong survived the exchanges and moved the fight back into a striking war.
The championship rounds featured back-and-forth action, with each competitor having their moments. In the end, all three judges scored the bout in favor of Xiong to win by unanimous decision, as she successfully defended her gold and beat Lee for the second time in three meetings.
