Conor McGregor Has ‘All The Tools’ To Top UFC Champion
Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor had plenty to say after UFC 280, though he has since deleted the messages.
By this point, Conor McGregor taking to social media should come as no surprise.
The former multi-division UFC champion had plenty to say following UFC 280 Saturday night.
In the main event, Islam Makhachev became the new lightweight champion, besting Charles Oliveira for the vacant title. Of course, it is one of the previous belts that McGregor held.
And Makhachev is a close friend and training partner of Khabib Nurmagomedov, a long-time rival of “Notorious.”
Here is what McGregor had to say via social media:
“Nice fight. nice performance,” he wrote. “I have built all the tools to beat this style now Vs b4. Experience Vs. Face breaking shots from clinch and baby brain batter shots from bottom.
“And the rest of my repertoire yous know. Steel left leg. Cannon back hand. Wrist control.”

He also called into question the system of how Nurmagomedov and the new champion compete.
“The thought of shutting down this system of fighting with my own developed system is quite intriguing to me,” he added. “Whoever of them against. It’s not personal. It’s a skill evaluation and a fight.
“Even thru generations. The imaafs, amateurs. A war of attrition. To the box.”
Since posting these, McGregor has deleted the tweets.
Thanks to MMA Fighting for first posting them.
