Well, UFC 279 was going great for Johnny Walker. At least until he returned to the backstage area.
Walker was escorted out of the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with his team after his victory to begin the main card.
“So, UFC just came and kicked us out,” said John Kavanagh, Walker’s coach. “No tickets for us and not allowed stay back stage to watch. Pulled out back door, kicked out, no even shoes on.”
Kavanagh, of course, is also the head coach for Conor McGregor.
He added that the decision was for “security reasons apparently. Open the main card, can’t even hang on to watch the last few fights.”
