Lambert Hit With Hate Online
It all started when a video showing the 38 year-old Lambert performing her song “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” was posted to TikTok earlier this week. Social media users said that Lambert looked “happy and healthy” as she sang to a crowd while wearing a graphic tee, denim shorts and cowboy boots.
Sadly, others took to mocking Lambert for her body, giving her offensive nicknames like “Miranda HAMbert,” “Miranda Lamburger” and “Mealranda Lambert.” Others told her to “mix in a salad” and “go to the gymnasium,” according to Page Six.
Making matters even worse, some brought up Lambert’s ex-husband, saying that he “dodged a bullet” when he filed for divorce in 2015.

“Well I guess we know who took it the bad way,” one person commented, with another adding, “Wait did she eat Blake?”
Another commenter said that Shelton, who went on to marry the singer Gwen Stefani, “trade[d] in [his] SUV for a compact.”
Lambert’s Fans Defend Her
Thankfully, Lambert’s fans and others stepped in to support her and fire back at her haters.
“Not a Miranda fan but these comments did not pass the vibe check,” one person commented, with another adding, “Clicked on a few profiles and y’all really have no room to talk about her looks…”
“I like how it’s only men commenting about her weight. She looks amazing,” someone else wrote, with a fourth fan writing, “Half of the men in the comments would be lucky to find a woman like her.”
“I have the same body type. She makes me feel safe,” one woman commented. Another pointed out that “bodies age” and “gain weight,” which is a normal “part of life.”
“Weight and looks don’t define you,” wrote a Lambert fan. “Your heart and how you treat people does.”
Lambert has moved on since her divorce from Shelton, as she married the former NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin in a secret ceremony back in 2019.
“I just don’t give two s–ts about people’s opinion of me, my marriage, my music or anything else,” Lambert told People Magazine back in June. “I just care that I’m being me.”

Lambert Has Found ‘Peace’
Lambert also said that she has found “peace” both personally and professionally.
“Finding happiness and being at peace with yourself, it’s a long journey, but I’ve really gotten to a great place,” she said. “My manager’s been good about asking me to ‘sit in my life.’ Country music is a huge part of my life, but it’s not fully who I am.”
“When I turned 30, I started to take life in a new direction and really start to understand myself a little better,” Lambert added. “And going through hard things obviously makes you get to know yourself better. When you get broken down pretty good, you look at the mirror and you go, ‘I have to spend some time with me, learn who I am and what I want.’ I got to a really good place with myself. Then I met my husband.”
We’re glad that despite what her haters say, Lambert seems to be doing well in life! We would like to wish her and her husband many years of happiness to come.
