Curtis Blaydes knows he has a tremendous opportunity ahead of himself this weekend.

Blaydes takes on Tom Aspinall in the main event of UFC Fight Night 208. The entire event streams live on ESPN+ from The O2 Arena in London, England.

The 31-year-old Blaydes is coming off a “Performance of the Night” finish of Chris Daukaus this past March. That was his fourth main event in his last five fights.

During that run, Blaydes has won three of the four, with the lone loss coming to Derrick Lewis. He has bested Daukaus, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Alexander Volkov and Junior dos Santos.

Overall, “Razor” is now 16-3 with a no-contest, including 11 wins by knockout. He also had no issues going the full five rounds and 25 minutes with Alexander Volkov back in 2020.

Aspinall will be quite the out for Blaydes. He has picked up five wins in all five of his UFC appearances.

In March, Aspinall bested Volkov, catching him in a straight armbar. He is 12-2 overall with nine wins by knockout and three more via finish.

Aspinall also finished Sergey Spivak, Alan Baudot and Jake Collier, along with submitting Andrei Arlovski.
