Michaels did not reveal the nature of his hospitalization other than mention “complications.” Michaels has battled health issues in the past. He has appeared on other shows of this tour, and it seemed Nashville was the first time he missed a show for this epic tour.

The Stadium Tour

Michael and Poison are joined on their 36-city tour with fellow 80s icons, 80s icons Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and Joan Jett. If that sounds like a fantastic show, by all accounts, it was.

Bret Michael’s Health Problems

Michaels has type-1 diabetes and has had a few health setbacks throughout his life.  In 2010, he was admitted to a hospital after complaining of numbness throughout the left side of his body. Tests revealed that he had a PFO hole in his heart. Michaels underwent a brief operation to repair the hole and treat his Transient Ischemic Attack, also known as a “warning stroke.”
