The Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston of “Friends” fame and the country music legend Dolly Parton are not two people that you would usually associate with one another. That’s why it may surprise you to learn that they are actually good friends!

But first, check out a fun moment the two stars had with Sandra Bullock below.

Aniston And Parton Bond On Set

Aniston and Parton became close when they filmed the 2018 movie Dumplin’ together. In fact, they became so bonded during filming that Parton was able to get Aniston and their co-star Danielle MacDonald to do something that they hadn’t done in front of the camera before: sing!

“I told ’em, ‘Look, we want you to sing.’ And they said, ‘We can’t sing!’ And we said, “We don’t care, we’ll make you sound good. You’ve gotta be on this record,” Parton recalled to Elle.

Parton added that in her humble opinion, Aniston and MacDonald’s vocals turned out very well!

“They don’t claim to be singers,” she said. “You can always make it sound better if there’s a little note that’s not necessarily right on pitch or whatever.”

Aniston ‘Burst Into Tears’

Aniston told Entertainment Tonight at the time that she “burst into tears” after recording a song with Parton for the movie.

“[I was so nervous] but I sang through it and then got my voice,” she remembered. “I literally couldn’t have a squeak come out, and then when we finished, I remembered, I just burst into tears.”

“She did get emotional after she was done,” Parton confirmed, going on to describe Aniston as a “real pro” in the recording booth.

“It was terrifying and fun and all of it… it was great,” Aniston recalled. “[I was] fearless, yes, or fearful, depending on how you look at it. But I had Dolly and Linda Perry there, who were just patient and wonderful.”

Parton’s Husband Wanted ‘Threesome’ With Aniston

Parton also revealed that her husband Carl Dean, to whom she’s been married since 1966, was very excited for her to work with Aniston because he wanted a threesome!

“I love her to death,” Parton told “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon. “My husband is crazy about her, and he was more excited that I was going to do a movie with her than he was that I got the chance to write all this music. I think he fantasizes, like, a threesome.”

Check out that full interview for yourself below.

Aniston responded by saying that she was shocked to hear that Dean had wanted a threesome with her.

“My mouth just dropped,” Aniston told USA Today. “And then I laughed my (butt) off. That’s Dolly. No one in the world can get away with saying anything like that about their partner on live television, except Dolly. I mean, that is a quote.”

Parton made sure to add that a threesome was unlikely because Dean “can’t get it out to pee, much less get it up for three!”

Now that sounds like it would be one catchy song, should Parton be inspired to write it!

It’s great to see that Aniston and Parton share such a fun friendship. Here’s hoping that they get the chance to work together again at some point in the future!
