The Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg celebrated his 51st birthday in style on Sunday, when he rang it in high in the sky on a private jet, where he took a shot of tequila.

‘The Big 51’
Daily Mail reported that Wahlberg uploaded a video to Instagram in which he picked up a bottle of Flecha Azul Tequila and said, “the big 51.”
In the video, Wahlberg was wearing a t-shirt from the Municipal brand, which he co-founded with Stephen Levinson and Harry Arnett.
“Bro, what are you doing for your birthday?” someone can be heard asking Wahlberg, who responds, “The big 51. I’m going to have some Flecha.”

Wahlberg Invests In Tequila
Wahlberg is actually an investor in Flecha Azul Tequila, and earlier this year, he opened up to Forbes about how he became involved in this industry, saying that he was content to take a backseat to Flecha founders Aron Marquez and Abraham Ancer.
“I’m not going to get into the spirits space saying that I created a tequila because people know that doesn’t ring true and consumers are smarter than that,” he says. “[So instead] I told them, ‘I’d love to get involved and invest in and support you guys and utilize all my resources and put the firepower into building the brand. And they were thrilled to have me.”
Wahlberg is currently working on the Netflix movie Our Man From Jersey, which is an action thriller that he is set to star in with Halle Berry.
Page Six reported that in the film, Wahlberg plays a down-to-earth construction worker from Jersey who is “quickly thrust into the world of super spies and secret agents when his high school ex-girlfriend Roxanne (Berry) recruits him on a high-stakes US intelligence mission.”
Wahlberg On Aging And Fitness
Back in 2019, Wahlberg opened up about aging and his commitment to fitness.
“I won’t lie — the biological clock is ticking,” he said at the time, according to US Magazine.
Wahlberg went on to say that he’s fully committed to putting in the work, both in fitness and in his career.
“I give it my best and do everything that I need to do to be prepared, and if it doesn’t work, it’s not for lack of effort,” he continued. “If I just show up and phone it in — like I’ve seen a lot of people do in the past — and then it doesn’t work, a lot of that is on me and what I didn’t give.”
We would like to wish Wahlberg a very happy birthday, and we hope that he has many more to come!
