Gina Carano Responds To Challenge From Ronda Rousey
Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey have long been linked together, and now, we could be in line to see them square off inside the cage.
Could we see both Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano return to mixed martial arts?
Rousey, who is currently competing in pro wrestling for the WWE, recently stated her desire to meet Carano inside the cage.
And while Carano has been retired for several years, the movie star seems interested.
During a recent interview on Unfiltered with Dan Bongino, she made her feelings known.
“You know what? Just never put it past me. It could happen,” Carano said. “It would be six months from now because I have a lot of stuff I need to do …. I really want to create, I want to direct, I want to produce… I want to give Ronda Rousey a job in one of my movies so maybe there is something we can do there.”
Carano, 40 years old, last fought in 2009 when she was bested by Cris Cyborg. Prior to that, she had scored seven consecutive wins, including victories over Kelly Kobold, Kaitlin Young, Tonya Evinger and Julie Kedzie.
Rousey, 35, fought in 2016 when she lost to Amanda Nunes in her return bout after a year away. She lost for the first time in 2015 to Holly Holm following a lengthy run as UFC bantamweight champion.
