Chris Pratt Says Wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Is An Amazing Mom

Last month, we reported that the Hollywood star Chris Pratt and his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger had welcomed their second daughter. Now, Pratt is gushing over his wife’s “amazing maternal instincts.”

Pratt also celebrated his wedding anniversary today with a post praising his wife.

‘She Just Really Knows What To Do’

“Katherine just has the most amazing maternal instincts,” Pratt told E! News at the premiere for Jurassic World Dominion on Monday. “She just really knows what to do. I’ll follow her lead.”

Pratt went on to say that he is hands-on when it comes to diaper duties, even comparing this to his dinosaur co-stars.

“Luckily they smell worse than dino droppings, but they’re much smaller,” he joked. “They are much more manageable.”

Pratt also said that he’s been eating a lot like his children lately.

“Lately I’ve been eating a lot of pizza and everything off my kids’ plates,” he explained. “I cook them lunch and they only eat half and I think ‘Well, calories don’t count if it was on their plate.’ It’s a lot of chicken nuggets and fries and tater tots.”

Pratt then admitted that this diet has taken a toll on his weight.

“I stopped being on camera when I wrapped Guardians [of the Galaxy] 3 a few weeks ago,” he said. “I tried my suit on today and I was like ‘I don’t know if this thing’s going to fit anymore.'”

‘Zero To 60 In No Seconds’

While talking to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Pratt confided that going from being a dad at home to a movie premiere was like “going from zero to 60 in no seconds.”

“At home, it’s really kind of zero, which I love. I’ve shifted into a gear that feels so nice,” he said. “I’m at home with mama and babies, and it’s just fantastic man, I love it.”

“And then to be here, it’s like, ‘Wait, what happened? Two seconds ago, I was changing diapers and here I am.’ But I love it,” Pratt continued.

Pratt And Schwarzenegger Welcome Daughter

Pratt is also dad to a son named Jake with his ex-wife, Anna Faris. Already parents to a daughter named Lyla, Pratt and Schwarzenegger announced the birth of their latest edition Eloise on May 22.

“We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. We feel beyond blessed and grateful,” they said in a statement posted to social media.

An insider told People Magazeine that Pratt and Schwarzenegger were “ecstatic” to be having another child, saying that “they always hoped for Lyla to have another sibling. They feel very blessed.”

It’s clear that Pratt is completely loving everything that comes with being a dad to little ones. We would like to wish him and his family many years of happiness to come!
