Tyler spoke about sobriety on Joe Rogan’s podcast.
Tyler says that sobriety is an everyday struggle, and while he misses drinking and drugs, he knows that every time he has relapsed it has cost him “everything.”
Sobriety is hard and it is a constant struggle to avoid triggers that cause you to slip. Tyler’s foot surgery led to a relapse. Medical procedures are a common way for addicts to fall of the wagon.
Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery for Steven.

Tyler relapsed following foot surgery and the subsequent pain management.
I think Depp’s recent humanising testimony concerning the horrors of detoxing from pain medications has helped lots of us to appreciate just how brutal the whole experience is. That takes courage and strenght and you’re seen. Love for Steven and the Aerosmith family <3
