Sharon Osbourne COVID-19

Last week, we reported that Sharon Osbourne had tearfully revealed that her husband, the 73 year-old Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, had tested positive for COVID-19. Now, the 69 year-old Sharon has revealed that she has tested positive for COVID-19 herself after contracting it from her husband.

‘F*** COVID’

Sharon took to social media to post a photo of herself in bed on an IV drip, using the simple but straightforward caption: “f*** COVID.”

Daily Mail reported that the drip that Sharon was on “consisted of Sodium Chloride USP. It was found the use of a hypertonic solution of sodium chloride at 1.1% reduced viral replication by 88% in tests involving infected lung cells conducted by researchers at the University of São Paulo.”

The image shows Sharon flashing a peace sign as she lays in bed with her three dogs and five television remote controls in sight.

How Sharon Caught COVID

Sharon has revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19 after she flew from Los Angeles to London to care for Ozzy, who also suffers from Parkinson’s disease and other health woes that leave him more susceptible to complications from the virus.

Thankfully, after testing positive for COVID herself, Sharon revealed that her husband is on the mend.

“He’s doing much better thank you,” she said in a recent interview. “His temperature is now back to normal his coughing has stopped, he’s doing much better. But I’ve got some news to share. My daughter Kelly has it, I have it and the entire household has it now.”

When asked if Ozzy would be taking care of her, Sharon replied with a laugh as she said, “maybe, we’ll see. I feel OK actually.”

Sharon’s Tearful Fears For Ozzy

Sharon’s worry for her husband was clear when she tearfully announced his COVID-19 diagnosis last week.

“I spoke to him and he’s OK. I am very worried about Ozzy right now,” a visibly emotional Sharon said at the time. “We’ve gone two years without him catching COVID, and it’s just Ozzy’s luck he would get it now.”

“It’ll take me a week to get my old man back on his feet again, and I will be back [on the show] in a week,” she added. “We’re gonna get him a negative test by next week.”

Thankfully, it seems that Ozzy is well on his way to achieving this goal of a negative test if he hasn’t achieved it already!

Though she can certainly rejoice that her husband is on the mend, Sharon should be sure to focus on her own health in the coming days. Here’s hoping that she rests up and ends up as good as new, just like Ozzy seems to have!
