Edge’s new heel faction, Judgement Day, has turned a lot of heads. He brought Damien Priest into the fold at WrestleMania 38 and Rhea Ripley joined the stable during the WM Backlash pay-per-view (PPV). Now there’s a hint that a new member could be joining the group.

New Member For Judgement Day

Edge recently hopped onto social media posting a photo of ex-NXT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa. As the photo had no caption, plus the buzz around Ciampa joining Judgement Day, it seems as if the WWE Hall of Famer is hinting at something major.

In addition, Fightful Select recently reported that Tommaso was a talent pitched for the new and intriguing stable. Edge placing a photo of him with no caption certainly seems to point at something big.

New Judgement Day Member “Coming Soon”

According to a report, another name that was brought forth for Judgement Day was Harland. However, the talent was released some weeks ago.

Edge recently did state that new Judgement Day members would be coming soon. Only time will tell if Ciampa is the one that the multiple WWE World Champion was referring to.

Ciampa entered NXT in 2015. During his tenure, he became NXT Champion (twice) and held the NXT Tag Titles with Johnny Gargano.

Since entering RAW’s main roster in April, Tommaso hasn’t really been utilized as much as he should on the show. His name was cut to just “Ciampa”, and he turned heel by attacking Mustafa Ali.

Over to the land of AEW, Kenny Omega stepped away from in-ring competition in November of last year due to a number of nagging injuries. With that said, he’s still been quite busy as of late.

Kenny Omega Works As AEW Producer

Omega is currently recovering from knee surgery, dealing with a hernia and other ailments. However, this does not necessarily mean he’s “not working” just because he’s not competing in that squared circle.

Kenny is currently collaborating with the AEW Games team and Yukes for the upcoming “AEW: Fight Forever” video game. He’s also been working as an AEW producer at the past several AEW television tapings.

According to PW Insider’s Mike Johnson, Omega has been present for Rampage and Dynamite tapings. The report notes he’s been influential in some AEW matches, working behind the scenes, and even produced a number of women’s division bouts.

Kenny Omega’s In-Ring Return

At this time, the report notes there is no timeline for Kenny Omega’s in-ring return. It doesn’t look as if he’ll be ready to compete at the Double or Nothing event.

It sounds as if Kenny needs a little more time to recover from the number of injuries he has. With that said, it’s a great sign that he is helping out backstage and in the thick of things.

The last time Kenny Omega competed in that squared circle was at AEW’s Full Gear event in November 2021. He lost his AEW Championship when facing Adam Page.

Here’s hoping fans see him step back into the ring, very soon. He’s certainly been missed by many.
