Joe Biden’s Sister Wants Meghan Markle To Run For President As A Democrat

Valerie Biden Owens, the sister of President Joe Biden, is inviting Meghan Markle to “join the Democratic Party” and potentially run for president.

Daily Mail reported that the Biden family has been known to be close to Meghan’s husband Prince Harry for at least a decade. There have also been reports circulating in recent years that Meghan has been networking among senior Democrats with the goal of starting a career in politics at some point in the future.

“It’s wonderful to have women in politics,” Owens said. “The more women we have the better our democratic system will work. We welcome her to come in and join the Democratic Party.”

When asked if Meghan would make a good candidate for president, Owens replied, “Yes, perhaps. Of course she will.”

Owens Defends Biden

In this same interview, Owens defended her brother’s frequent gaffes, calling them “truths.”

“First of all, his gaffes are truths. He speaks the truth,” she said. “Is he capable? Watch him. Look at him. He speaks the truth. Sometimes it comes out in a different way and people call it a gaffe. He speaks the truth.”

Owens then said that she wasn’t “enthusiastic” about Biden running against Donald Trump in 2020 because she believed the former president was “committed to destroying my brother and my family.”

“All of the elections Joe ran, I was right there with him. 2020 was a different story,” she said. “I was not enthusiastic about him running against the former president, because the former president I believe was committed to destroying my brother and my family.”

“Joe is the right person at the right time for the right job and there are lots of things still to do to carry on the agenda,” Owens continued. “There’s no daylight between the private person and the public man. The American people know what Joe is about.”

When asked if Biden will be running for reelection in 2024, Owens replied, “Yes. We’ve got stuff to do. Absolutely.”

Meghan Bashes Trump

Prior to her 2018 marriage to Harry, Meghan was an outspoken Hollywood liberal who openly bashed Trump in interviews in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.

“Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think about female voters alone, right?” Meghan said in a 2016 interview with talk show host Larry Wilmore. “I think it was in 2012 the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points; that is a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is, and so vocal about it, that is a huge chunk of it.”

“You’re not just voting for a woman if it’s Hillary because she’s a woman, but certainly because Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world that he’s painting,” she added.

Many feel that Meghan has radicalized Harry and made him go full “woke” since she tore him away from the royal family and moved across the world with him to the liberal bastion of California. Should she ever run for office, she would undoubtedly do so as a Democrat, but it remains to be seen if she could ever be successful at winning a political race.
