Bouts Added To Bellator’s September Event Set For Dublin

Mads Burnell and Pedro Carvalho will meet at Bellator: Dublin this September.

That fight, along with three all-European prelims were announced by the promotion.

Bellator: Dublin takes place September 23 from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. Benson Henderson vs. Peter Queally is the scheduled main event.

Along with that fight, Burnell and Carvalho square off in a featherweight contest. Burnell is 16-4 overall and has won three of his four Bellator fights.

Carvalho will bring a record of 12-6 including a 5-3 Bellator mark as he fights in his adopted home of Ireland. Carvalho trains at SBG Ireland with the likes of Conor McGregor.

Joining the preliminary portion of the card are three matchups, including a lightweight bout between unbeaten Irish prospect Darragh “Moville Mauler” Kelly (1-0 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) and England’s Kye Stevens (3-1, 1 NC MMA), a featherweight matchup between undefeated Irishman ​​Kenny “Black Diamond” Mokhonoana (3-0 MMA) and Slovakia’s Alex Bodnar (3-1 MMA), and a second 145-pound clash between French standout Asaël “The Sultan” Adjoudj (3-1 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) and Poland’s Adam Gustab (6-5 MMA, 0-2 BMMA).
