Giuliani Masked Singer Jeong

Things descended into chaos on the set of “The Masked Singer” last night after Donald Trump’s former advisor Rudy Giuliani was revealed to be a contestant, prompting judge Ken Jeong to storm off the set.

Giuliani Revealed As ‘Masked Singer’ Contestant

The New York Post reported that Jeong was furious when Giuliani was revealed to be the contestant who was dressed as a jack-in-the-box. In a segment that was taped months ago, Giuliani popped out of the jack-in-the-box while performing “Bad To The Bone,” with Jeong responding by saying “I’m done” as he headed backstage.

As the panel tried to identify who Giuliani was during his song, the audience could be heard gasping.

“Is that Robert Duval?” questioned judge Nicole Scherzinger, a former member of The Pussycat Dolls.

“That’s not Robert Duval,” an audibly frustrated Jeong said in response.

Giuliani Reveals Why He Did Show

Not all of the judges were as upset as Jeong. Judges Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy were seen dancing enthusiastically to his performance as the credits ran. Giuliani was also given the chance to tell host Nick Cannon that he decided to do the show in the hopes of inspiring his new baby granddaughter.

“Mr. Giuliani, with all of the controversy that’s surrounding you right now I think it surprises us all that you’re here on ‘The Masked Singer,’” Cannon said, to which Giuliani replied, “Me too, me too.”

“I just had a granddaughter, Grace, and I want her to know that you should try everything, even the things that are completely unlike you and unlikely — and I can’t think of anything more unlike me and unlikely than this,” he explained. “I don’t get to have a lot of fun.”

Judge Robin Thicke reportedly followed Jeong offstage to make sure that he was alright, but this was not shown in the episode, according to Entertainment Weekly

Other Controversial ‘Masked Singer’ Contestants

Giuliani isn’t the first controversial conservative to appear on “The Masked Singer,” as former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner have also competed on the program in the past.

Jeong, who is best known as an actor who appeared in movies like The Hangover and Crazy Rich Asians, has been outspoken about his liberal views in the past. So it comes as no surprise that he threw a hissy fit over the inclusion of Giuliani, who has been vilified like crazy by the left in recent years.

We applaud “The Masked Singer” for defying the liberal agenda by allowing the world to see a different side of Giuliani. We’re also glad to see that he had so much fun on the show and that he got to “trigger” a liberal snowflake like Jeong!
