Jon Jones would be a heavy betting favorite if matched up with Stipe Miocic.

Jones, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, has targeted summer for his debut in the heavyweight division.

And many are pointing towards Miocic, a former UFC heavyweight champion, as his first opponent.

UFC president Dana White has also made it known that he would like Jones vs. Miocic for the interim title. Current champion Francis Ngannou is expected to be sidelined after surgery.

Sportsbetting.ag has released odds on a potential Jones vs. Miocic fight. And despite it being the debut for “Bones” at heavyweight, he would be the betting favorite.

The site lists Jones at -200 with Miocic coming in at +170.

Jones would be looking to become the third fighter to be both UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion. Randy Couture was the first and Daniel Cormier the second, with Cormier holding both at the same time.

The last time Jones fought was in 2020 when he defended his 205-pound crown against Dominick Reyes. Since, he has vacated the belt and battled more legal issues.

Miocic, meanwhile, lost to Ngannou in early 2021 for the title.
